Here at By His Design (BHD), we are VERY glad in this day. Today is what we hope is the first of many as we go online to let all of our family, friends, and customers know that we are here to offer the finest faith based products available.
BHD was founded in 2005, by Molly (my dear, sweet wife), who grew and promoted BHD mainly through word of mouth to family and friends. Selling just one product, The Comforter (a cotton throw in south florida of all things!), she managed to find a home for over 300 “Comforters.” When you read the description of the Comforter on the product page, you’ll probably get goosebumps and understand why it is such a meaningful blanket.
After meeting a strikingly handsome man, Molly got married to John (that’s me!). Now, Molly and I are working together to create products that “Testify to the gospel of God’s grace,” (Acts 20:24) which is the mission of BHD. You will see the Lord’s strength and majesty in the Encourager blanket and the Names of God print designs, which I recently created.
We are now in the exciting and challenging time of learning to grow a business, develop new products, work with manufacturers, build a web-presence, and fight the urge to get a dog. Please pray for us…we really want a dog.
